From the Moon, our planet fits inside a window. You cannot see the passport offices, the checkpoints or the old arguments. You see water, weather and one fragile light in a lot of darkness.
That photograph does not solve hunger. It does not stop a bomb or pay a hospital bill. But it corrects our sense of scale. It reminds us that every border was drawn on the same small home.
I invented Moon Kingdom because sometimes fiction gives us enough distance to tell the truth. In this country nobody is illegal. The King owns no land. There is no army and there never will be one. The first duty of citizenship is to notice another person's life.
If you join, I cannot offer you residency, tax advantages or a route through an airport. I can offer you a good object with your name on it, a place inside an unusual story, and a public promise about what we do with the money.
Maybe that sounds small. Most decent things begin small: a meal, a rent payment, school books, medicine, a stranger deciding not to look away. I would rather begin there than pretend we have already changed the world.
Welcome, if this feels like your kind of country.
